I’m a new user. I request adding Scale to the things that can be scheduled in Song Mode. I realize I can change Shift in each track then save that to a new pattern, but it would be easier to do this for all tracks via Key and then very desirable to be able to change the Scale itself in Song Mode instead of loading a new project with the new scale.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve already started working on the next 1.4 update which will add some more event types for Song Mode and I can already confirm that Key, Scale and Octave (from the Scale sub-menu) will be included.

That’s great news. I’ve been working on changing the key via channel 16 CC message. I use Ableton as a plugin host with NGEN, but it’s very inconvenient to schedule single CC changes via automation in Ableton’s timeline. I hear there’s a Max for Live device that will schedule CC changes, but I’d have to upgrade to Live Suite, and I’d rather schedule key changes in Song Mode.
Ah yeah, I agree that having it as an event type in Song Mode would make things a lot easier and it’d be a nice use-case for the automation aspect of Song Mode.
I’m also adding event types for controlling Clock parameters but please let me know if you have any other suggestions!
