Performance mode - Error when mapping Octave parameter of ACDGEN generator

  • NGEN Hardware Version: v1.1 (batch #2)
  • NGEN Firmware Version: v1.3.0
  • Related feature: Performance mode

Steps

  • Have any track setup with ACDGEN generator
  • Go to Perform menu
  • Press ENCODER to edit Macro 1
  • Select Remap and press ENCODER
  • Go to Generator menu
  • Select Octave and press ENCODER

Observed

  • Error message appears: Unmappable parameter
  • This issue only happens with ACDGEN generator: Issue is not reproduced with any other generator having Octave parameter (ACDGEN, ARPER, POP, TURING)

Expected

  • It would be useful to be able to map Octave parameter with ACDGEN generator

I can confirm this is an issue with 1.3 due to some incorrect settings for the Octave parameter.

Adding this to the fixes for 1.4.

When I first encountered it I thought octave param couldn’t be mapped for any generator, but then I realized that it was only reproduced with ACDGEN, and therefore was probably unexpected :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Haha yeah, sorry about that. I think what happened was that I implemented a setting for disabling mappings for certain parameters and I was testing it with the ACDGEN Octave parameter and forgot to disable it :man_facepalming:
There’s no actual reason for this parameter specifically to be disabled.
