Hello everybody! I’m excited to announce that the new 1.4 update for NGEN is now available!

Here are the highlights for this new update:
New Features
- New Generators
- LUAR - New hybrid (monophonic / polyphonic) generator inspired by the nightlife of São Paulo city that uses an algorithm based on dual euclidean rhythms.
- LOOPER - A polyphonic MIDI looper for NGEN that can record up to 2 bars / 32 notes.
- New MIDI FX
- CALL - Separates notes into two separate groups to create a call-and-response effect
- New Param View - New view that displays what parameters are currently mapped to NGEN’s 4 Param knobs
- Dynamic Variation - Adjust the variation amount or enable track randomization per generation
- Undo System - Revert to previously generated sequences
- New CV Output Modes
- CV1 Ext - Outputs MIDI velocity to CV 2 and a random value on note-ons to Gate 2
- CV1 + Clk - Outputs a 1/16 clock to CV 2 and a reset gate to Gate 2
- 11 New Song Mode Event Types - It’s now possible to automate Scale and Clock parameters via Song Mode
- New User Scale - Adds a new USER scale that can be edited via the Scale Editor and saved to projects
- Added support for the new NGEN Web Manager
Improvements / Fixes
- Implemented a new output buffer for the TRS MIDI output on HW v1.1 - Fixes a bug that caused NGEN to drop notes when using the TRS output with Free Clock
- Added new global shortcut for disabling the currently selected track: TRACK | CLK + Menu Encoder (click)
- Improved view consistency during menu navigation
- The selected track number is now displayed during animations
- Animations for disabled tracks are now blurred
- Improved FreeClock accuracy and re-enabled clock output for HW v1.1
- Improved Menu Encoder response
- Added a new icon to indicate what parameters only affect the next generated sequences
- Reduced saving & loading times

This update ended up taking a bit longer than expected (feature-creep almost got me) but it should hopefully include improvements to some of the topics discussed here in the forum as well as many cool new features and important improvements and bug fixes.
