Hi everyone.
I just got my unit and I’m struggling to figure out exactly how certain functions work.
when I access the track settings sub-menu, I only see settings for Status, Generator and MIDIFX. If I keep turning the menu encoder, no other options are shown.
It is perhaps worth mentioning that I have activated a free clock, since I intend to run / control my hardware rig from NGEN.
I don’t see any play option to get the sequences started.
Still a lot to learn.

The first issue is sorted.
I enabled advanced mode in the general settings.
However, I have the impression that NGEN is not sending anything to the synthesizer.
I don’t see any animations on the NGEN screen that could indicate that a sequence is playing.
I have paired it with a Zynthian.
NGEN is recognized as a midi input source on the Zynthian (via MIDI channel 1), but I don’t hear anything at all.
Quick update.
Midi information is now being transmitted flawlessly.
There was an issue with the Zynthian setup.
My only doubt at this point is related to stopping all sequences / tracks at once.
Stopping all sequences is actually pretty straightforward. It’s only a matter of deactivating the internal clock.
Hey @nzimas! I’m finally catching up with the forum after focusing on the 1.2 release for the past couple of weeks.
Seems like most of the issues were sorted out but, if you have any other questions, feel free to add them here.
I’ll add some comments here just to elaborate a bit on the issues you were having.
That is correct! Those extra settings are available via the advanced mode. I’d also recommend saving your settings after enabling it once you get familiarized with them.
Animations in NGEN are available via the Idle Mode under 2 sub-menus: the Generator submenu (for the generator animation) and under the Clock sub-menu (for the clock animation).
Another way of monitoring what’s being received and sent by NGEN is via the MIDI Monitor, available under the Tools sub-menu.
