Feature request: Ability for Length Multiplier of Shaper FX to shorten note length

  • NGEN Hardware Version: v1.1 (batch #2)
  • NGEN Firmware Version: v1.3.0

Steps

  • Load a new project
  • Go to Track menu > MIDI FX
  • Select Shaper
  • Go to Length Multiplier setting and press ENCODER to edit it’s value
  • Turn ENCODER to the left → nothing happens
  • Turn ENCODER to the right → values goes upward up to 10

Observed

  • Length Multiplier does not allow user to select any negative value: -2,-3,-4, etc
  • It only allows user to select positive values: 1, 2,3,4, etc

Expected

  • It would be useful to be able select negative value such as -2,-3,-4, etc
  • Doing so would have the effect of dividing note length by the selected value, effectively transforming Length Multiplier into a Length Factor fx and giving more control to user
